The world is getting smaller day by day. Boundaries have become so porous they actually seem nonexistent. Case in point: recently, this idea of borderless society is materialized though the rampant crimes happening here in the city. I mean, even thieves believe that the world is so borderless, what is mine is theirs. A perveted way, really, of understanding the slogan of globalization. Increasingly, we have no choice but to live unstable lives in an environment of unstable rules and morals. More concerning, we can no longer depend or fully trust each other since everyone is a potential criminal that may all of a sudden inflict harm towards us. I lost my wallet, IDs, cellphone, cash when a thief pointed a gun at me near my house as I was on my way to work. It was a pivotal moment in the sense that I realized that the world is borderless and no longer safe. So what I did after that was get for my protection DIY Security Systems.
